In brief: Art of Vedas supplies Ayurveda and Panchakarma centres, practitioners, spas and retailers across Europe with the classical range a treatment room runs on: Thailams in 1 litre and 5 litre formats, Kuzhambu, Churnams for Udvartana and Lepa, Kizhi supplies, preparations for internal use and Panchakarma equipment. Professional formats and trade prices are available to verified businesses through Shop Ayurveda EU, and orders ship from warehouses inside the EU.
Wholesale Ayurvedic products for centres, practitioners and retailers
A Panchakarma centre, a single-room practice and a retail shelf need different things from a supplier. A centre needs every oil, powder and piece of equipment its treatment menu calls for, in working volumes, with a reorder rhythm it can plan around. A practitioner needs a focused set of classical preparations and a simple way to prescribe. A retailer needs sealed, fully labelled packs that can go straight onto the shelf. This guide sets out the complete professional range, how it is supplied to each of them, and how professional ordering works.
Who we supply
- Ayurveda and Panchakarma centres, from day practices to residential programmes, where oil is planned in litres per treatment room per week.
- Ayurvedic practitioners and therapists, in a dedicated practice or alongside yoga and massage work.
- Ayurvedic doctors (BAMS) practising in Europe.
- Spas, wellness resorts and yoga studios offering Abhyanga (classical warm oil massage), Shirodhara and related treatments.
- Retailers, from health food stores and pharmacies to online shops.
- Distributors and multi-site groups supplying practitioners, shops or their own locations.
Each of these is an account type on Shop Ayurveda EU. The type you choose when you apply decides which prices and tools your account shows.
Supply for Ayurveda and Panchakarma centres
A centre buys a treatment menu, not a product list. We therefore start from the procedures you offer, the number of rooms and the weekly volume, and map them to oils, powders and equipment. The table shows what each classical procedure draws on and where it sits in our range.
| Procedure | What the room uses | From the range |
|---|---|---|
| Abhyanga | Warm Thailam, about 100 to 150 ml per full-body session | Dhanwantharam, Ksheerabala, Mahanarayana, Balaswagandhadi, Karpooradi or Prabhanjanam Thailam in 1 or 5 litres; plain sesame oil; Dhroni table |

Opening a new centre
Send us your treatment menu, the number of rooms and the volumes you expect in the first months. We map them to an opening range of oils, powders and supplies, quote the equipment, and set the formats so that nothing ages on the shelf before it is used. Our guides to setting up an Ayurvedic treatment room and to building a first order for a new practice set out the reasoning behind that mapping.
Standing supply for a running centre
Once the menu is settled, most centres move to a fixed rhythm: a main order each quarter and a small top-up in between, planned against litres per room per week. Groups with several locations can order centrally and have each location delivered separately. Batch documentation for the products you use is available on request. Our note on planning oil quantities for a Panchakarma room gives the working figures per procedure.
Private label for centres and spa groups
Centres and spa groups can have oils and powders packed under their own name, for the treatment room and for retail. Formats, minimum quantities, artwork and labelling languages are agreed per project: write to us with the products and volumes you have in mind.
The professional range
Shop Ayurveda EU carries the Art of Vedas range together with classical preparations from other established makers. The lists below show what is supplied, by preparation type, including the many preparations that have no page on this site. The ranges open in an account depend on its type and on the ranges assigned to it; anything in this guide that your account does not show can be requested through the supply or equipment request in your account.
Thailams for Abhyanga and body work
Thailams (herbal oils prepared by slow decoction into an oil base) are the core of every treatment room.
- Balaswagandhadi Thailam
- Chandanadi Thailam
- Dhanwantharam Thailam
- Jathyadi Thailam
- Karpooradi Thailam
- Kottamchukkadi Thailam
- Ksheerabala Thailam
- Mahamasha Thailam
- Mahanarayana Thailam
- Murivenna
- Narayana Thailam
- Nirgundyadi Thailam
- Pinda Thailam
- Prabhanjanam Thailam
- Prasarini Thailam
- Sahacharadi Thailam
- Sudhabala Thailam
The oils used in volume come in 1 litre and 5 litre formats as well as in retail bottles. The professional formats are sold through Shop Ayurveda EU only, which is why their size appears on this site without a price.
| Thailam | Retail sizes | Professional sizes |
|---|---|---|
| Brahmi Thailam | 200 ml, 450 ml | 1 L |
| Chandanadi Thailam | 200 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Dhanwantharam Thailam | 200 ml, 450 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Karpooradi Thailam | 200 ml, 450 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Kottamchukkadi Thailam | 200 ml | 5 L |
| Ksheerabala Thailam | 200 ml, 450 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Mahanarayana Thailam | 200 ml, 450 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Prabhanjanam Thailam | 200 ml | 1 L, 5 L |
| Prasarini Thailam | 200 ml | 5 L |
| Sahacharadi Thailam | 200 ml | 1 L |
Where one oil carries most of your Abhyanga work, the 5 litre format is usually the sensible purchase; for an oil used a few times a month, 1 litre is easier to finish while it is fresh.
Kuzhambu
Kuzhambu is semi-solid and noticeably thicker than a Thailam. It stays where it is applied and absorbs slowly, which suits targeted application such as Kati Basti rather than full-body massage. Mezhukupakam is cooked to a firmer consistency still.
- Balaswagandhadi Kuzhambu
- Dhanwantharam Kuzhambu
- Karpasasthyadi Kuzhambu
- Kottamchukkadi Kuzhambu
- Prabhanjanam Kuzhambu
- Sahacharadi Kuzhambu
- Dhanwantharam Mezhukupakam
Churnams for Udvartana, Lepa and Kizhi
Churnams (finely ground classical herbal powders) for the treatment room come by the kilogram: Kolakulathadi in 500 g and 1 kg for Udvartana (dry powder massage) and powder Kizhi, Kottamchukkadi in 1 kg for Udvartana and warm Lepa (herbal paste), and Rasnadi in 500 g and 1 kg, the powder applied to the crown of the head after Abhyanga, Shirodhara and Nasya. For face packs there are Mukhalepa, Rose Petals Powder and the Facial Ubtan, and further Lepa powders are listed inside the platform.
Navara rice for Navarakizhi comes in 1 kg, with Pinda Swedana bags and Kizhi cloth by the 30 metre roll for tying the boluses.

Treatment-room equipment is supplied by quotation: the Dhroni table, the classical wooden table for Abhyanga and Pizhichil; the Shirodhara stand, with Shirodhara vessels in brass and stainless steel; the Swedana box for herbal steam; and the Avagaha tub. Smaller equipment includes Basti rings for Greeva, Janu and Hrid Basti, the Greeva, Netra and Hrid Basti yantras, Gokarna vessels for Nasya in two sizes, Netra Prakshalana cups, the Nadi Swedana tool, Pinda Swedana bags and Kizhi cloth.
For the therapist there are Garshana gloves and the Kansa tools, among them the Kansa Abhyanga Wand, the Kansa Marma Wand, the Kansa Vatki and the Kansa Gua Sha. The Panchakarma instruments collection shows the pieces that are also listed on this site.
Retail packs for resale
Retailers, and practitioners who sell to their clients, buy the same sealed retail packs that this site sells, at trade prices on Shop Ayurveda EU. Resale should be in the original packaging with the label intact: under EU cosmetics law, a business that repacks a cosmetic product, or sells it under its own name, becomes its Responsible Person, with the obligations that role carries.
How professional ordering works
Shop Ayurveda EU is our platform for professional buyers. Access is reviewed account by account, and the professional catalogue and prices stay inside the platform.
- Apply. Register at shopayurveda.eu and choose your account type: practitioner, Ayurvedic doctor (BAMS), Panchakarma centre, retailer, distributor, or yoga studio and spa. Registration is free.
- Verification. Our team reviews the professional details you give before catalogue and ordering access are switched on.
- Order. Once approved, you see trade prices, including those of the 1 litre and 5 litre formats. Centres can build supply requests by pack size and quantity, and equipment is ordered by quotation.
- Follow the order. Payment and fulfilment status stay with the order in your account, and support can find any order by its reference.
Practitioners can also prescribe through the platform. You prepare a prescription for a client and send a secure payment link; the client pays through the Shop Ayurveda EU checkout without seeing the professional catalogue, and the order stays linked to your client record.
If you would rather speak to us before applying, or you are planning a centre or regular distributor volumes, use the enquiry form above or write to info@artofvedas.com.
Quality you can check
Every Art of Vedas preparation has its own quality page: what the preparation is, its ingredients and the tests recorded for its batch, such as heavy metals and microbiology, with pesticide residues for food supplements. Where a label carries a QR code, it opens the same page, so a client can check the pack in their hand.
For your own records, note the batch number of each pack you open against the client file. It is the reference that keeps a professional file traceable if a question is ever raised.
Delivery across Europe
Orders ship from warehouses inside the EU, so deliveries to EU addresses involve no customs clearance and no import duty. The shipping cost is calculated for the delivery country and shown before payment, and equipment is delivered on the lead time stated in its quotation.
Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Norway are outside the EU customs territory, and import duty and VAT may be charged on arrival. Please contact us before a first professional order to one of these countries, so that the most practical route can be agreed.
VAT for EU businesses
Businesses with a valid EU VAT number buy without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism, and the number is checked automatically at checkout. A VAT number is not needed to open an account: practitioners who are not VAT-registered can still apply and are charged VAT in the normal way.

Common questions
Can you supply a new Ayurveda centre from its opening day?
Yes. Send us the treatment menu and the number of rooms, and we map oils, powders and supplies to it and quote the Panchakarma equipment, from the Dhroni table and Shirodhara stand to the vessels, Basti rings and Kizhi supplies.
Why do the 1 litre and 5 litre formats show no price on this site?
They are professional formats, sold to verified businesses through Shop Ayurveda EU, where the price appears once your account is approved. The Panchakarma instruments are sold the same way. Plain sesame and castor oil, and the retail sizes of every Thailam, keep their public price on this site.
Do you offer private label for centres?
Yes. Centres and spa groups can have oils and powders packed under their own name, for the treatment room and for retail. Formats, minimum quantities, artwork and labelling languages are agreed per project.
How much oil does a treatment room use?
It depends on the procedure mix far more than on client numbers. As planning figures, a full-body Abhyanga uses about 100 to 150 ml, a Shirodhara session keeps 1.5 to 2 litres in circulation, and a Pizhichil session draws 3 to 5 litres. Our guide to planning oil for a Panchakarma room turns these figures into stock levels.
What is the difference between this shop and Shop Ayurveda EU?
This site is the Art of Vedas shop for individual customers. Shop Ayurveda EU is the platform for professional buyers, with the professional formats, trade prices, prescription tools and order records for centres, practices and retailers.
Can a distributor or a group with several locations open an account?
Yes. Distributors apply with the distributor account type, and groups can order centrally with delivery to each location. For regular volumes, use the enquiry form above as well, so that range, formats and delivery can be agreed before the first order.
Can my clients order the products I recommend?
Yes. Send a prescription link from your Shop Ayurveda EU account: the client pays through the platform's checkout, and the order stays linked to your client record. Clients can also buy the retail sizes directly on this site.
