Copper Tool
A pure copper bottle for Tamra Jal, water stored in copper, one of the oldest daily practices in Ayurveda. Fill it at night, let the water rest for six to eight hours, and drink it in the morning for Ushapana, the early-morning glass of water. Classical texts describe Tamra (copper) as naturally purifying and balancing for the Doshas.
Rinse before first use. In the evening, fill with clean drinking water, close the lid and leave overnight, six to eight hours. Drink in the morning on an empty stomach for Ushapana, then empty the bottle. Clean every week or two with half a lemon and a little salt, rinse well and air dry. Do not use for very hot or sour liquids.
